Place the components inside the skylight recess without fastening. Confirm the opening direction, motor position, clearances, and that the ordered dimensions match the opening.

Use a level and pencil to mark the frame position. Keep the tracks parallel and allow clearance from handles, trim, and other obstructions.

Align the bottom aluminum frame with your marks, drill pilot holes where appropriate, and fasten it using suitable screws for the mounting surface.

Seat both side tracks into the bottom frame. Check that they are straight, parallel, and square before tightening.

Fix both tracks securely. Recheck the opening width at the top and bottom so the shade can travel smoothly without binding.

Insert the headrail ends into the side-track clips, move the assembly into its final position, and confirm that both sides are fully engaged.

Install the drive components supplied with your shade. Connect the plug-in, rechargeable battery, or solar components according to the included motor instructions.

Secure the protective cover, clear the travel path, then operate the shade through one complete open-and-close cycle. Stop immediately if the shade binds or the tracks move.
