This guide is for the four-sided, no-drill framed blackout blind. Read every step before opening the adhesive strips.

Choose the method supplied with your T25 order. Watch the complete video before handling the frame, seals, or fasteners.

Method 01 · No-drill

T25 no-drill installation

Use this video when your order is the recessed, four-sided T25 no-drill system. Do not add screws or substitute zebra-shade hardware.

Use this video only when the T25 order and supplied hardware are identified for drilled installation. Confirm the mounting surface and use suitable fasteners.

Correct slight T25 top-rail deformation

If shipping pressure leaves the T25 top rail slightly squeezed or out of shape, compare the condition carefully with this short video before making a gentle correction.

Before assembly

Check every part before removing adhesive backing

Lay the package contents on a rug or towel near the window. Stop and contact ANJIAR if any rail, connector, seal, or label is missing or damaged.

Step 1 · Prepare

Lay out the four frame sections

Work on a clean rug, towel, or other soft surface near the window. Arrange the top, bottom, left, and right sections as one rectangle before joining anything.

  1. Match every part against the packing list and product label.
  2. Face the rail channels toward the inside of the rectangle.
  3. Keep the internal cord between the frame sections, never outside the frame.

Step 2 · Assemble

Connect the first corner squarely

Align one side section with the top or bottom section. Push at the connector area until the joint is fully seated.

  1. Hold both sections square before applying pressure.
  2. Press at the corner connector, not halfway along the rail.
  3. If it does not seat naturally, pull it apart, check orientation, and try again.

Step 3 · Assemble

Join the remaining corners and inspect the frame

Continue around the rectangle until all four corners are connected. Check the frame before adding either sealing strip.

  1. Run a finger over every joint; the surfaces should be flush.
  2. Confirm the cord remains inside the frame path and is not pinched.
  3. Operate the blind once on the floor to confirm smooth travel and latching.

Step 4 · Seal

Apply the brush sealing strip

Install the brush strip around the rear, lower edge of the frame. Peel only a short section of backing at a time and press the strip down as you move.

  1. Start at a corner and keep the strip close to the rear edge.
  2. Continue around all four sides without leaving gaps.
  3. Form a clean 90-degree turn at each corner, then trim the excess.

Step 5 · Seal

Apply the foam or weather sealing strip

Place the second seal directly above the brush strip. Keep it relaxed while pressing it around the full frame.

  1. Start at a corner and peel the backing gradually.
  2. Press the strip evenly without pulling it tight.
  3. Cover every side and make a relaxed 90-degree corner with no opening.

Step 6 · Install

Fit the assembled frame into the window recess

Use two hands and keep the frame controlled. On a wide window, ask a second person to support the opposite side.

  1. Hold the frame at the installation angle specified in the final ANJIAR manual.
  2. Guide the bottom edge into the recess first and seat it evenly.
  3. Press the top into position, check all four edges are flush, then test one full open-close cycle.

Before daily use

Test the frame, seal, and blind movement

A correct installation should sit flush, operate smoothly, and show no open corner in the sealing strips.

  • All four corners are flush with no step or gap.
  • Brush and foam seals run continuously around the frame.
  • The blind opens, closes, and stops without rubbing.
  • Any light leak is checked first at the nearest corner seal.

Troubleshooting

Solve small issues before they become damage

Never force a connector, stretch a seal, cut a rail, or drill the frame without confirming the remedy with ANJIAR.

Why is a small amount of light visible at one corner?

Check that both sealing strips form a continuous, relaxed 90-degree turn and that the frame is fully seated at that corner. Do not add unrelated adhesive or caulk before sending a close-up photo to ANJIAR.

What if a frame corner will not connect?

Do not force it. Separate the parts, confirm that the channels face inward, check that the connector and cord are not obstructed, and align the sections squarely before trying again.

What should I do if the blind rubs or moves unevenly?

Stop operating it. Confirm the four joints are flush, the frame is not twisted, and no cord or sealing strip has entered the moving path. Send a short video and the product label to ANJIAR support.

Can one person install a wide frame?

Use a second person for a wide or heavy frame. Supporting both sides reduces twisting and helps the bottom and top edges enter the recess evenly.
