Window opening size
You measure the clear opening exactly. Do not subtract a factory allowance. ANJIAR reviews the product, mount type, and opening before applying any product-specific production deduction.
Order note: “OPENING SIZE”ANJIAR measuring center
Choose your product and mount type, record every measurement, then run the final checks before ordering. Keep all values exact—ANJIAR will only apply a production deduction after the size type is clearly confirmed.
Step 1 · Choose the right path
The deduction, minimum recess depth, maximum size, and installation clearance depend on the product system. Start with the product family you plan to order.

Step 2 · Prevent the most expensive mistake
These two measurements are not interchangeable. The order notes and every measurement sheet should repeat the selected size type.

Order note: “OPENING SIZE”You provide the exact outside dimensions required for the completed product. No additional deduction should be assumed. Use this only when you already know the finished size your project requires.
Order note: “FINISHED SIZE — NO DEDUCTION”Zebra shades · Inside or outside mount
Inside mount gives a built-in appearance and keeps the trim visible. Outside mount can improve coverage and is often the better option for a shallow, obstructed, or noticeably out-of-square opening.
Inside mount
Required: compare the smallest of your left, center and right depth readings with the selected cassette value. Do not use a larger reading.

Outside mount
Standard single-layer cassettes · V3 / S1 / S3
The top-mount reference identifies the internal dimension shown in the manufacturer drawing. The minimum recess depth is the clear window-recess depth required for inside-mount installation.
Square profile
Available as an aluminum-alloy valance or with a fabric-wrapped face.
Curved profile
The curved front profile includes a fabric insert.
Curved profile
The curved front profile is fully fabric wrapped.
Dual-layer day & night system
This is a separate dual-layer cassette—not one of the V3, S1 or S3 single-layer valances.
Inside-mount requirement: the smallest usable recess depth must be at least 100 mm / 3.94 in. The 3 in value shown separately is the bracket top reference, not the required recess depth.
The bottom-rail dimensions in the image are hardware-identification references and do not determine the required window-recess depth.
Other product guides · Not zebra shade instructions
T25 framed blackout honeycomb and skylight systems use different structures, limits and review requirements. Do not apply the zebra-shade rules above to these products.
Dedicated product guide
Only for the T25 no-drill framed system. Its opening dimensions, control direction and production limits are different from zebra shades.

Measurement worksheet
This worksheet checks for missing values and shows the measurement range. It does not apply a production deduction or guarantee fit.

Measuring FAQ
No. Record the exact reading. For inches, measure to 1/16 in where practical; for metric, measure to 1 mm. Do not convert repeatedly between units.
That depends on the product and whether you submit opening size or finished size. This page shows the smallest width and height range for review, but it intentionally does not apply a production rule.
Confirm usable depth, flat mounting surfaces, obstruction clearance, and whether the opening is square enough for the selected product. When any value is close, send photos for review.
No, unless ANJIAR specifically requests it for a special system. Standard inside-mount measurements refer to the usable window opening where the product will fit.
Measure and label each one separately. Even matching windows can vary enough to affect a custom product.
